Hello!
If you’re interested in working at Sour Cherry Comics for a seasonal / temp position, please fill out this application form. (It is a google form!)
Job Role:
- greet customers, offer recommendations occasionally
- use the point-of-sale to conduct transactions (we exchange goods for money)
- read comics + graphic novels + books + babysit shop when slow
- answer the phone sometimes
- receive boxes send mail (give to the USPS mailcarrier)
Requirements:
- interest in comics (intentionally vague)
- ok w/ 10-15 hrs/wk
- can lift 50+ lbs. (the boxes can get heavy but more importantly, you need to be able to lift and unfold the ramp for wheelchair users and if i’m being honest i think that ramp is like 70lbs at least)
- sales/retail background
- 18+ (you will likely be in the store alone at times)
